In cooperation between Embassy of the Republic of Serbia and the Western Front Association Nederland), a documentary movie about Milunka Savić, Serbian combattant from First World War, directed by Mrs. S. Zarić, was screened during the 8e Tino Prins Eerste Wereld Oorlog Film Festival, in De Meern, on Saturday, 22 of October 2016.

Before screening of the movie about Milunka Savic, as the first movie screend during the Festival, ambassador of the Republic of Serbia Mr. P. Vico addressed the audience, with brief remarks about the life of Mrs. Savic, as well as about the importance of the First World War for the Republic of Serbia.

H.E. Mr. Vico also paid tribute to several Dutch citizens that helped Serbian fight for freedom in 19th and 20th century (dr Van Tienhoven, Louis Remaker, Jenny Markus).
