Jubilant, tenth edition of Eastern Neighbours Film Festival will be held in The Hague from 7th till 11th November, 2018. Festival’s Programme includes films, documentaries, short and animated features and most of them will have their Dutch premier.

This year’s edition of ENFF will present following films of the Serbian authors (in chronological order):

„The Other Side of Everything”, (104 minutes), of a director Mila Turajlic is a documentary which deals with the history of a whole country and its people. The chronicle of a family in Serbia turns into a searing portrait of an activist in times of great turmoil, questioning the responsibility of each generation to fight for their future. The film won Winner of the IDFA Award for Best-Feature Length Documentary 2017, it’s a nominee for the LUX PRIZE of the European Parliament and is short-listed for the European Film Academy Award for Best Documentary

„When Pigs Come”, (72 minutes) of a director Biljana Tutorov is a charming documentary tragi-comedy of a very special old lady. A retired teacher in Serbian province, devotedly monitors elections believing that all individuals could and should make a difference in building democracy. The film has been presented on dozens international festivals and won accolades - Sarajevo Film Festival, 2017 – EDN Talent Grant Award | Sofia Independent Film Festival, 2017 – Special Jury Mention

„Untravel” (9 minutes) is short animated documentary by Ana Nedeljkovic and Nikola Majdak. It’s about a girl from a grey city surrounded by a huge wall and tells a story about the relationship between personal and political boundaries and the far-reaching consequences of living in an isolated country.

„A Handful of Stone” (14 minutes) by Stefan Ivancic is a short feature that brings up an embittered 11-year-old boy’s perspective on his parents’ separation.
